REACTION - Minecraft Legends looks really jolly, despite releasing within a stacked few weeks

Packed to the brim.

Anything with Minecraft slapped into the branding is bound to sell by the block load, but despite some hefty competition from a variety of big releases, we find ourselves unreasonably excited to play Legends. That might be because even though we’re not necessarily the primary target audience, the possibilities of co-op jolliness with our kids cannot be underestimated.

Minecraft Dungeons offered similar, albeit more forgettable, hack and slash action, but the addition of customisable and defendable forts in Legends ties in nicely with the mainline series’ penchant for creativity and gives Legends the potential for much greater depth. As always in these situations, my children will ultimately be the judge, and likely be very helpful with the inevitable review.

It’s also a Game Pass Day 1 drop, so that’s helpful, and will be released on multiple platforms and support cross play too. It’s due out April 18th 2023.
